Reflection Question for F451 p.74

In the quote "Maybe the books can get us half out of the cave.They just might stop us from making the same damn mistakes".I think he calls his society a cave because in his society they are not allow to read or own a book, so therefore they are unaware of the history or things that are going on.They might feel like if they are trap in a cave.I think maybe the books could help the society from making the same mistakes because the books might have life experiences of the author and that could help the people avoid mistakes that the author might have done.

Something that change my attitude towards life was a movie I saw. Well the movie is call Saw IV and V. The movie capture my attention because it teaches life lessons. For example he would test people by torturing them. He would play mind games by putting their life in danger to make them find a way to survive. He would chose people who did not cherish life who he believed didn't deserve to live. If the person died it was because they did not make a wise decision if they survive they would walk away with the gift of life. That movie taught me to value the ones who I love and the ones who love me;and not to hurt people physically or mentally because then others could harm you the same way or worst.
